I used to play with my Dad’s manual Minolta camera when I was a kid. In high school I got the chance to use his camera when I took a class that taught the scientific physics of light. I always love science and art, but this was the first time I could play with both - I was hooked. Shortly after this, I took another class in art photography and the following year I was accepting freelance work for businesses, clubs and even volunteering teaching kids photography.
I love creative challenges. My daily goal is the create images that are better than anything else that I am seeing online, in stores and galleries. I love to tell my clients to give me all of the work that no one else can shoot - this is often the most tedious and difficult items. It takes a ton of work and patience, but the reward is being constantly booked by a variety of clients offering up more great challenges.
Some of my favorite locations around in and around Philadelphia are streets in Old City like Elfreth’s Alley, shops like Franklin Fountain and book and record stores. Outside of the city, I am very fond of the Wissahickon Valley Park, Valley Forge National Historic Park & Longwood Gardens.See portfolio & book
