Passionately devoted to producing delightful creative works, California-born photographer and polymath Christopher C. Lee, is renowned for his ability to capture timeless moments through his craft. His initial immersion into various urban cultures brought a profound awareness of fashion, street art, and design ethics. The brainchild of his lifestyle efforts resulted in streetwear label and movement, Troo Wear (www.troowear.com). Represented through PPA (Professional Photographers of America) and NYIP (New York Institute of Photography), his commercial work includes broadcast production with Sky News Australia, and collaborations with Google, Microsoft, Airbnb, Dropbox, YouTube, and more. He participated in the videography of Axent Wear, a headphones start-up by the celebrated artist Yuumei, raising over $3,000,000 in funds and achieving over 500,000 views on YouTube. His founding of the media production studio, Photomochi (www.photomochi.com), further established masterful imagery in creative projects throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. He enjoys amiable, introspective chats with friends and approaches his work the same way that he greets folks - sincerely and true to the heart. How did you get started with photography

I was 17 when my Mom and I had a startup. We sold corporate gifting products along with fancy trousseau décor. Naturally, we couldn't afford a professional for a shoot so I learned a few things on how to shoot tabletop/ products on a white background. Started clicking with a Samsung Note 2 and a year later my Dad gifted me a Canon t3i seeing how passionate I was for clicking a perfect shot.

What do you love about your job?

I absolutely love telling stories through my image. I strive on creating a look that is worth a thousand words. Photography allows me to capture those special moments in people's lives and share their story in a way that is honest, artistic and unique. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing the smile on my clients' faces when they go through the images in the album I deliver. Creating a moment of joy for them is what I love.

What are some of your favorite places in San Francisco to take photographs?

My favorite place to shoot in San Francisco is Baker Beach in the early morning. The Golden Gate Bridge and the Pacific Pacific Ocean provide spectacular backdrops for any portrait shoot, and the golden glow on the edges of the subject's face makes the overall picture even more vibrant. I also love shooting at the Palace of Fine Arts in the evening hours. However, I like to be flexible and coordinate with the client around the weather as the wind and fog in San Francisco can play a big role in how the place turns out.
