How did you get started with photography

My mother was always very artistic and instilled in me a love of art. However I was not very artistically gifted with painting and drawing as she was. I found my own artistic passion when i got my hands on my first film camera and I have been in love with the art of photography ever since. I took classes in high school for film photography that resulted in some of my work hanging in the Scottsdale Center for the Arts, and I have been set on being a photographer since then.

What do you love about your job?

My goal is to always bring out the best in whatever I am photographing, whether it is people, nature or architecture. I have found there is a feeling of pride and joy when I see my final image come to life on my screen, and I have never had that feeling from a traditional 9-5 job.

What are some of your favorite places in Phoenix to take photographs?

I have a few locations that are always fun. I did a really fun photo shoot out in Scorpion Gulch, and there is a great scenic spot near Tempe Town Lake that I have used to photograph vehicles.
