Bapple has used Bill Chen as a professional photographer for the past 2 years. From fashion, to flowers, to cars, he is a versatile artist. We regard him not only as a photographer but a true creative with vision and discipline. We would happily recommend Bill for art direction & creative photoshoots.
We were extremely happy with Bill's work. His consultation process was excellent as our needs were thoroughly addressed and discussed. On the day, he was punctual and was very efficient in capturing the areas that we needed shot, in the best possible way. The results were outstanding and I have no doubt these photos helped get our property leased much earlier than we expected. We highly recommend Bill and his services.
Bill is one of the most outstanding photographers we have ever met. He captures the most natural moment of his subjects with ease and graciousness, and the photographs he produces are always stylish and beautiful. This is not to mention Bill is very professional, down to earth and easy to work with! Highly recommended!
Ben was very professional from the first meeting and in the lead up to our wedding, nothing was ever too much trouble for him and we really valued his creative ideas. On the day of the wedding he worked very hard and produces outstanding photos that we cherish. He was able to get us the photos very shortly after our big day which we were so surprised at how quickly he did this, and how great they look. Ben also has very good interpersonal skills and displays a maturity way beyond his years. He also organised our invitations, order of services and thank you cards. Was so good knowing he was looking after it all.
We we're both really happy with Ben! He was professional, super helpful, really fun, and keen to go with any ideas we had, or come up with ideas for us. The package we had exceeded our expectations with physical prints and then tonnes of digital copies of all our, now treasured memories. From bringing coffees to the bride in the morning to capturing embarrassing dance moves in he evening, he consistently went above and beyond to make our day special, and allow us to relive the day through our photos. Ben has earned an overwhelming recommendation from us!
Heather Swan is a talented photographer. She captured the most intimate and meaningful moments at my wedding. Her work hangs in my bedroom, and I frequently page through the album she edited and had made for me. Heather is professional, caring and her presence is unobtrusive. I highly recommend her as a photographer to capture the times you want to remember always.
I've always felt a little spark in me whenever I got to play with any sort of camera. At a young age, it felt like I could hide behind it and become the observer rather than the centre of attention. I was very shy haha! My family decided to move from Slovakia to Australia when I was around 7 and I received my first digital camera to document our move from my grandparents...and haven't stopped documenting since.
I love using photography to express my creativity - especially when it comes down to fashion and lifestyle shoots. They are very creative in the first place, no t-shirt and jeans but something exotic is always at hand to play around with - and that's what makes it different.
My favourite place to shoot in Sydney would have to be Turimetta Beach right now. This beach is just so grand and diverse, you can take such a variety of different moods in one shoot that it's unreal.
I always loved looking at photographs, they allowed me to travel somewhere I've never been and to discover realities I could not even imagine. This made me understand the power of photography as a visual universal language. Learning photography has been like learning how to play a musical instrument to me. It's a double road journey. Knowing very well both the technique and the history of the medium help me being a very skilled photographer.
I love photographing people's special occasions. The spectrum of emotions and visual combinations can be absolutely outstanding. Being able to capture that spectrum without falling in the usual clichés is my challenge.
I particularly love Sydney's inner west suburbs. They have great character thanks to the great multicultural atmosphere and mix of old buildings and graffiti.
